Practitioner, Ormiston at HMP Edmunds Hill
Our project based at HMP Edmunds Hill offers a wide range of support for prisoners and their families with a range of services inside the prison. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled employee to join a small team.
Practitioner
£16,614 - £17,574 rising to £18,882 pro rata
Part time - 17.5 hours per week
You will:
- work directly with prisoners regarding family and children's issues
- assist to supervise children's visits
- have a qualification to NVQ level 3 in childcare, youth or community work or other relevant subject
- have an interest in working directly with children, young people and their families together with an general understanding of the issues that may face families affected by imprisonment.
